More about the collaboration.
Launching at Clerkenwell Design Week 2025, the collaboration celebrates colour, creativity, and conscious design through a thoughtful partnership grounded in colour theory and science. Taking place at the Collate Workshop at the collaborations centre is Tamart’s mid-century-inspired Central Stool hand painted in a bespoke YesColours palette. Each shade was selected by Co-Founder Emma Bestley, using her synesthetic approach to capture the emotional essence of Tamart’s archive.

Serene Peach.
Our curated palette is drawn from Tamart’s archives and colour history.
These peach tones reflect the gentle mid-tones that appear in many of Tamart’s abstract compositions. They provide a grounding warmth and emotional softness to the piece.

Passionate Lilac.
These lilacs and purples soften and balance the palette, offering a cool counterpoint and a more introspective, modern tone.

Loving Orange.
This rich, saturated orange has been colour matched to reflect the earthy reds and terracotta tones, evoking energy and creativity from Tamart's powerful history.

Electric Yellow.
This bold, bright yellow has been colour matched where flashes of green and yellow draw the eye and energise, injecting optimism and confidence, mirroring the kinetic energy of Tamart.
Colour is architecture’s most direct emotional language.
