Our Secluded Grey paint colour is a deep grey with a gentle touch of yellow/green warmth.
One thing is sure — this grey shade is never dreary. It takes us to misty pebble-stone coasts in St. Columba’s Bay on the Isle of Iona and the weathered cobbled streets of the historic city of York, full of wonder and magic — just like something straight out of Diagon Alley.
This muted grey colour captures the sense of isolation in Lost in Translation, boosted by the use of Tungsten film stock that reflects disconnection within a bustling city. Just like the ‘dark’ and ‘stormy’ skies that often accompany pivotal moments in Bram Stoker’s gothic novel Dracula, Secluded Grey is also, essentially, stormy to perfection.
This warm deep grey paint colour will bring drama and depth to sunny living rooms and dining rooms, as well as provide a great option for accents in industrial and rustic interior design aesthetics.

Prep
If you notice any unevenness on your wall's surface, a quick sanding may be necessary before painting. When painting freshly plastered walls or other absorbent surfaces, priming is crucial to ensure proper adhesion of the paint. You can either mist coat dry plastered walls or use a plaster primer, typically with a matt emulsion texture.

VOCs
Less than 0.005kg/L VOCs. Our paints are 0% Added VOCs and are the lowest possible VOC rating, along with exceeding all industry emissions regulations for the UK/EU limits.
Water-based
Water-based paints, use water as the primary solvent instead of traditional solvents like mineral spirits. They dry faster, have lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and offer easier cleanup with water. They're versatile, suitable for various surfaces, and come in different finishes, making them an eco-friendly and practical choice for many painting projects.
Anti-waste
Our commitment to sustainability shines through in ever aspect of our products! Rest assured, all our pouches, sample pots, delivery boxes, wrapping, labels, delivery bags, and sample jars are either fully recyclable or crafted from recycled materials.
