Our Graceful Grey paint colour is a crisp icy grey hue with blue undertones. It’s cooler than the other greys in our paint palette, but still warm enough to make any room feel cosy and welcoming.
This grey shade reminds us of Rachel Weisz’s shooting jacket in Lanthimos’ 2018 movie, The Favourite, where this colour symbolises the character’s liberation from the gender politics at the time while still keeping a feminine touch. In nature, this colour is reminiscent of the ethereal grey skies of the Icelandic winter, the raw beauty of smooth grey pebbles on the Scandinavian shoreline, as well as the frosted panes of a cabin window deep in the Swiss Alps. Its shimmery crisp tones can be found in the metallic sheen of a freshly shucked oyster on ice, and — one for the cat lovers out there — in the soft, velvety fur on the muzzle and whisker pads of a Russian Blue cat.

Prep
If you notice any unevenness on your wall's surface, a quick sanding may be necessary before painting. When painting freshly plastered walls or other absorbent surfaces, priming is crucial to ensure proper adhesion of the paint. You can either mist coat dry plastered walls or use a plaster primer, typically with a matt emulsion texture.

VOCs
Less than 0.005kg/L VOCs. Our paints are 0% Added VOCs and are the lowest possible VOC rating, along with exceeding all industry emissions regulations for the UK/EU limits.
Water-based
Water-based paints, use water as the primary solvent instead of traditional solvents like mineral spirits. They dry faster, have lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and offer easier cleanup with water. They're versatile, suitable for various surfaces, and come in different finishes, making them an eco-friendly and practical choice for many painting projects.
Anti-waste
Our commitment to sustainability shines through in ever aspect of our products! Rest assured, all our pouches, sample pots, delivery boxes, wrapping, labels, delivery bags, and sample jars are either fully recyclable or crafted from recycled materials.
