YesColours J Adams & Co Colours CDW2026

New colours added to J. Adams & Co. Paint Collection — a collaboration built on design, craft and heritage.

Launching this week in conjunction with Clerkenwell Design Week 2026, three new paint colours — expanding a palette that traces the journey from Birmingham's industrial heritage to the heart of London's design district, Clerkenwell. Three new shades join the collection: Echo Blue, Oxide Red, and Brick Yellow — sitting naturally alongside Foundry Red, Patina Green, Studio Neutral, and Hockley Taupe.

The capsule collection.

J. Adams & Co. Lighting was founded on a belief that truly beautiful objects are made to last.

Every luminaire begins as an exploration of form, materiality, and light in their London studio before being brought to life in a Birmingham workshop drawing on over fifty years of craft heritage.

The shared philosophy between J. Adams & Co. and the YesColours Capsule Paint Collection — that restraint is not the same as simplicity, that place matters, and that materials speak for themselves — makes this a natural pairing between brands.

J. Adams & Co.'s handmade brass and glass luminaires sit instinctively alongside the palette's architectural warmth, becoming part of the same considered interior story.

J. Adams & Co. can be found at jadamsandco.com and at their showroom in the heart of Clerkenwell, London — a space designed for architects and interior designers to explore their collections in person.

This collection draws on the raw textures of our industrial heritage and translates them into shades that feel refined, timeless and purposeful.

The palette.

The three new colours sit naturally alongside the collection's existing shades: Foundry Red, Patina Green, Studio Neutral, and Hockley Taupe.

Industrial, material-led, and rooted in place, the full seven-colour palette can be used individually or drawn from as a cohesive scheme.

Each colour holds its own; together, they tell a single story.

YesColours

Oxide Red.

A deep, chocolate-toned red with cool blue undertones and a calm, architectural presence. Oxide Red is inspired by the darker tones of Birmingham's brickwork and the oxidised iron detailing found on its historic industrial structures.

YesColours

Brick Yellow.

A muted ochre yellow with a soft, earthy warmth and an understated, balanced character. Informed by the sun-warmed tones of Birmingham's historic brick and the lighter masonry found across London, Brick Yellow feels calm and grounded rather than bright.

YesColours

Echo Blue.

A light, muted blue with a subtle grey cast, reflecting the diffused light of London's sky. Echo Blue is calm and even, designed to sit quietly within a space rather than dominate it. It adds a sense of openness and clarity, working particularly well with pale woods, brushed metals, and neutral palettes.

YesColours

Foundry Red.

A strong, warming red inspired by forged metal and brick. Brimming with strength and resilience, Foundry Red celebrates the fiery energy of Birmingham’s industrial heart.

YesColours

Patina Green.

A deep, layered green with the character of aged, patinated metal. Rooted in Birmingham’s metalworking legacy. Patina Green speaks to endurance, quiet strength, and the beauty of timeworn craft.

YesColours

Hockley Taupe.

An earthy, clay-like taupe that captures the honest, tactile nature of materials in the maker’s hand. Hockley Taupe is grounded, soft, and quietly reassuring.

Studio Neutral.

A soft neutral with a subtle, glowing undertone. This shade embodies refinement and London’s design sophistication, grounding yet luminous. Studio Neutral completes the collection with calm serenity.

These shades celebrate the grit and craft of British design, bridging past and present.
