YesColours Crowdfunding investment round

YesColours is crowdfunding and putting community first

By John Stubbs on

We are super proud to have announced our first crowdfunding campaign at the end of November on  Within 48hrs we had reached over 50% of our target, and we're now sitting pretty at 76% funded, with just a little more to get us to our target.

Investing might be new to some of you out there, but crowdfunding and make it super easy to get started.  Crowdfunding allows people from our community to become part of YesColours' future.  We wouldn't be anywhere without you, and together we hope to grow even stronger next year — with some very exciting projects in the pipeline.

YesColours community crowdfunding

Why is it important to us?

Well, from the start we have been determined to create paints that not only look good but that you can feel good about, using innovative colour technology and are completely safe for you, your family, your co-workers, your pets, and the environment — as well as game-changing recyclable packaging that reduces waste going to landfill.

And to continue on that journey, as well as fuel our growth for the future that includes growing our team, our product range and launching some super exciting collaborations in the new year — we need investment to help us get there.  By crowdfunding on Seedrs.comand reaching out to our colourful community for support, it means that we are bringing our community with us.

You're just as important to us as our paint. Without our community we simply wouldn't be here.

YesColours paint pouch recyclable stats

Since launching in April we've come a long way.

YesColours designed and launched the UK's first fully kerb-side recyclable paint pouch for DIY customers and we've won 3 industry awards including Marie Claire Sustainability Awards (highly commended), Livingetc Style Awards, and Real Homes Awards.

Our paints have been used by Sheffield Children's Hospital, Firstsite Museum (Museum of the Year) as well as supported numerous community spaces and mental health charities such as Place2be, Rethink, MindOut as well as NIP cancer recovery.

YesColours have been featured at Stylist Live 2022 and recently joined Habitat and TikTok for an exclusive press and media event discussing home decor and consumer insights for 2023.

So where do we go from here?

We have been building direct relationships with our community, whilst continuously learning and developing our products and services. We are also partnering with museums, offices, public spaces, as well as interior designers and property developers.

We will also be launching new eco-friendly and fully recyclable colour swatches and fandecks and antimicrobial paints next year.
